Bioremediation of clay with high oil content and biological response after restoration

Abstract The clay with high oil content form soil lumps, which is hard for microbes to repair. In this paper, the bioaugmentation and biostimulation technology were applied improve bioremediation effect of content, that modified by local cow dung sandy soil, ecological toxicity after restoration was further analyzed. After 53 days bioremediation, degradation efficiency respect total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) reached 76.9% ± 2.2%. bacterial count M5 group log10 CFU/g = 7.69 0.03 results better than other experimental groups. relative abundances petroleum-degrading bacteria added remained ( Achromobacter 9.44%, Pseudomonas 31.06%, Acinetobacter 14.11%), proportions some indigenous Alcanivorax Paenibacillus ) also increased. bioremediated reduced seed germination earthworm survival experiments.
